Onion 'Albion F1'

Onion ‘Albion F1’ is part of the ‘varieties with special colours’ category. It is a lovely white, uniform round onion suitable for the fresh market and for short-term storage. This onion has a nice pungent, slightly sweet flavour. This onion contains a lot of water and is therefore very crisp. It is delicious eaten raw, for example in a salad.

White onions are often slightly larger than their yellow counterparts. Harvest ‘Albion F1’ when the foliage has toppled over. As the crop will not completely cover the ground, it is important to weed regularly between the plants.
