Savoy cabbage ‘Cantasa F1’

Savoy cabbage 'Cantasa F1' has an attractive colour and finely blistered leaves. This cabbage is a strong grower that will also thrive in less than ideal weather conditions. It is an excellent variety for autumn and early winter cultivation. Suitable for the fresh market and also stores well.

Harvesting 'Cantasa F1' at a young stage improves storage quality. Savoy cabbages will keep until January if kept in a cool place. Follow up feeding every two weeks for a good yield.

Pre-sow: 4-5 weeks before transplanting
Transplant: mid April-mid July (cover the crop if transplanting early)
Harvest: mid September-mid December, approx. 130 days after transplanting

Spacing: 75x50 cm
Storage: until January
Soil: fertile with sufficient organic matter, alkaline, pH 6-7.5
