Beetroot 'Boro F1' is a standard variety for organic beetroot cultivation. The beets are a lovely, intense red colour both on the inside and outside. The leaves are strong and healthy.

For standard size beets, sow around 50 seeds per m2. For smaller, mini beets, this can be increased to 120 seeds per m2. Harvest between July and November. After harvesting, ‘Boro F1’ beets are best stored in a cool shed or outdoor root clamp. Cover the clamp well so that the beets do not get wet constantly and remain frost-free.
