Curly kale receives a lot of attention as a superfood. 'Darkibor F1' is a highly productive variety that is suitable for autumn cultivation. The dark green, tightly curled leaves have good resilience to yellowing. The plants grow to 45-90 cm high. As with all curly kale varieties, the colour and flavour benefit from a spell of cold weather.
Curly kale loves fertile, well-fertilised soil with plenty of organic matter that breaks down slowly. To ensure good growth, follow up feeding with an organic fertiliser several times during the crop cycle may help the plants.
