With this glass sprouting jar, you can easily grow your own fresh sprouts. The specially designed screw-on strainer lid makes rinsing and draining easy. At the same time, the lid provides good airflow and drainage, creating good growing conditions and helping to reduce the risk of mould and unpleasant odours.

Using the jar is simple. Add the sprouting seeds to a clean jar and soak them for 4–8 hours, or follow the instructions on the seed packet. Drain the water through the strainer lid and allow the seeds to drain thoroughly. Rinse the seeds twice a day. After a few days, depending on the variety, the sprouts are ready to eat.

Recommended sowing rate per growing cycle in the sprouting jar: alfalfa 10 g, broccoli 20 g, fenugreek 15–20 g, green pea 50–60 g, mustard 15–20 g, radish 15–20 g, red cabbage 15–20 g, mung bean 30–40 g and sunflower 30–40 g.
