Brussels Sprouts ‘Hemera F1’

Brussels sprouts 'Hemera F1' is a true winter variety for harvesting in January, February and March. The variety is suitable for cleaning and is highly resistant to frost and bolting. The sprouts ripen evenly and can therefore all be picked at once, although continuous cropping is also an option. The largest sprouts are then picked from the base of the plant upwards every 2 to 3 weeks. Sprouts can also be harvested on the stalk and, optionally, be sold like that: they keep longer, there’s less picking to do in the cold, they look good and they’re fun for the consumer to twist off.

Harvest: January-March, approx. 270-300 days after sowing
Soil: rich, well fertilised
