Green celery Tall Utah is a vegetable of which the stems and young leaves can be eaten. The plant is rich on nutrients. Green Celery is a variety that germinates only with sufficient light and cannot be sown too deep. Germination is slow and can take up to three weeks. Green celery has clearly more vigour than ordinary celery (Apium Graveolens). Celery requires a rich, peaty ground and cannot withstand much frost.
